El Salvador - Las Dos Sofias Natural

Jeremy visited Mario's farm 6 years ago just when these trees were being planted so it's really sweet for our first direct trade coffee to be this one. There's a nice fruit punch acidity, yet the apple cider sweetness jumps up to meet it for a balanced and smooth coffee. Caramel and nougat flavors are familiar making this a great introduction to lighter roasts if you're used to something darker.
